FAQs

How can I donate items?

Due to storage restrictions, we are only able to accept donations for current referrals. Our volunteers request specific items for the families they are working with on our Facebook group.
Please follow our Facebook group Bromley Brighter Beginnings and comment on the post if you can donate any of the requested items so that one of our volunteers can get in touch.

What kind of items do you request?

Our referrals cover a wide range of essential baby and child related equipment, including cots, cot beds, buggies, stair gates, baby monitors, sterilizers, bottles, clothes, toys, bedding and baby baths.

I would like to set up a similar scheme in my area – can you help?

Having been through the process from the very beginning, from establishing contact with local referrers, through implementing policies and procedures, and to applying to become a registered charity, we are very happy to share our knowledge and ideas with groups in other areas who are thinking of setting up a similar scheme to Bromley Brighter Beginnings locally.
